Default Mobile Search Engines

All,

I wrote up a quick website several months ago to assist with quickly searching the internet from my BlackBerry 8700. I have it set as my home page.

I just upgraded to 8300, and as I was setting the search page as my home page, I decided I might as well share it with others.

Mobile Search... (make sure your javascript is on)

Let me know if you can think of any other websites that you search often while on your BB. If I like the site, I will add it. =) Otherwise, I guess you could copy the web page and add it yourself...lol.

Note: by default (pressing enter) it will search Google. If the search string is empty - it will go to the selected website (as opposed to searching the site). Also, it is designed for my 8700/8300, but it may look ok on the Pearl, too - I dunno.

I am posting to this forum as a secret for my fellow 8300 users (and I don't want my web server hit too much, although it is a very small page). =)

I wrote this search engine page using basic javascript and it works perfectly on my desktop computer, my 8700, my 8300, and the 8300/8700/8800 of several friends.

However, I am unable to get it to work on ANY Pearl. Any ideas? I have tried on 3.

I turn on javascript on the Pearl just like all of the other models - but for some reason it won't run the javascript code.

Has anybody had any luck getting my search engine page to work on Pearl? (If you click on wikipedia and it seaches google, then you know the javascript isn't working).

Mobile Search...

Thanks.
