glad to hear that :) |
same here, very happy comin from several treos and wm devices good stuff |
Im happy with mine also. I came from th 8700g. Definitely worth it. |
so none of these: Calendar items NOT giving off reminders Low memory management Washed out screen I might exchange mine out in a few weeks to see if my issues get solved. |
I have an O2 and an ATT and the operating system is much better (faster and less glitchy) on the O2. In fact my O2 is on Tmobile and it is the best so far and I have had all of them. |
Mine is near perfect. Very happy with it. |
Don't want to sound like a bandwagon-jumper...but mine is built solidly, and had absolutely no glitches whatsoever so far. In fact...I gave my Treo 680 away, so I have no way back from the BlackBerry camp... I ain't skeered...;-) So far, I can't remember ever being so totally satisfied with any device I have ever owned. |
I have never owned a better device..... |
Y'all still happy with the 8300? |
I'm really happy with the unlocked Curve I bought from GSMPhonesource, build quality and all seem fine to me. The one warning I have to you guys though is that T-Mobile is having issues with the Curve's service books. I'm not sure why, but there were issues getting the correct service books sent. I've resolved most of the issues and have access to email and the T-Zones browser, but still don't have the regular browser shortcut. T-Zones does the same thing, it's just slightly aggravating to have lost the old "B" shortcut. |
+1 for the Curve! I love it. |
Always loved the whole Curve idea and what not!!! But, a few units with some minor issues hampered my perfect vote! We'll here I am a little late to the dance after my 5th unit, but as they say better late then never! Take this poll in a month or two, and you'll see how many people would be giving praise. The device is one of the best RIM as ever laid on the table, and build quality and all that stuff (as archer6 said) will get much better with production as time rolls on! I'm on my 5th, and yes....It's now finally PERFECT! |
I tell everyone this is the best device I have ever owned. They all say: "that's what you said about the Pearl". They're right, I did say that about the Pearl, but the Curve is far superior to the Pearl. |
...he passes the grape kool-aid.... |
I am not saying it is perfect but it has to be darn close. Did not take me 5 units to find a good one, just one. It is a darn good Blackberry for sure. My only request would if they would have spent a few more bucks on the camera as I still think they missed an opportunity with image quality! Still like the build quality and keyboard of the 75xx series more. If they could put the guts of the 8300 into the 75xx series, then you would have perfect! |

With the O2 operating system installed tmobile pushes out all the correct service books. It is an easy upgrade and works great. The old browser shortcut works fine. |

Greg, my 7105t feels like a grenade, so friggin tight, even after 2 years! To me, that's the closest I've seen to build quality perfection! |
I've got an AT&T Curve on the way to me with the $64.99 Global Unlimited Data plan...now, If only AT&T brought back their North America roaming plans, I'd give up my Verizon 8830 :? |
