Default Cost for using 8300 as a laptop modem on AT&T

I'm currrently using a T-Mobile PCMCIA data card for a laptop internet connection while traveling. Costs $29 a month for unlimited access. Works reasonably well, particularly when EDGE service is available.

I wanted to replace both this card and my VZW mobile phone with an 8300 and need only BIS service, but I need to be able to use it as an internet connection when wireless is not available.
Visited the AT&T website and found they charged almost $75 per month if the device was used as a tethered modem.

Is this the plan that must be purchased for BB sevice when you use the device as a tethered modem, or is there another way to get the service at a more reasonable price?

Thanks

Keith

Thanks very much. That is what I suspected. T-Mobile only charges $29 per month to use the BB with full BIS service AND as a tethered modem provided you add this service to one of their voice plans.

Guess my only option if I want this service is to wait for T-Mobile to offer the 8300.
