Default New 8300 BB useer - HELPPPPP!!!

Hi all,

Just migrated from the 8125 to the 8300. Love the device except for one thing. I am hoping I am not doing something correctly.

I am using Balckberry Desktop Redirector to get my corp email on my 8300. I am not able to use BES or BIS. I am getting my email, able to send email, but I can not figure out why the 2 are not reconciling with each other. I know this can not be done wirelessly and needs to be done when the 8300 is hooked up to my PC. When my devices synh, neither my PC or device updates each other. This only happens with mail. Everything else (addresses and Calendars) synchs.

CAn someone give me some suggestions?

BB 8125? There is no 8125.

You cannot get mail syncing using Desktop Manager.

Yes--Contacts, calendar, memos, tasks.

No-email, messages, etc.

i have the same problem, the redirector says there are emails pending to the device, but they dont actually get to it.

the FAQ's say that the redirector will send emails via the desktop.

BlackBerry Redirector.
This is a special software program included on a CD included with BlackBerries, that you can install on your computer. You can run it on a home computer or office computer -- just leave the computer on 24 hours a day. The software will watch for new emails arriving in Microsoft Outlook and then automatically forward a copy of these emails to your BlackBerry. (No BES needed, although some users have reported a BES Server Address Required during installation). But you must keep your computer running 24 hours a day to get copies of your email.
