Default Loading Apps On Curve

Please Login to Remove!

I feel like an idiot...but tried to load some .zip filed apps to my phone last night via USB...and can not figure out how to do it. I know I am just not doing something right.

Is there some place that will walk me through it, baby-step-by-step?

Please help.

27-hits and nobody can tell me how to load an app? I just got through trying to sync my phone with Desktop Mgr. thinking that was the way to load the apps on my desktop screen...but it won't even recognize that I have my phone connected w/the USB. What's going on?

My wonderful Curve experience is taking a negative turn...

Please help!!

AFter downloading the .zip file you'll need to extract the files to a folder somewhere you won't delete. You should end up with an .alx file and one or more .cod files. The .alx file tells the desktop manager what .cod's to load to the device.

Then using Desktop Manager/Application Loader use the "add" feature and browse to the folder you saved the extracted files to. Click on the associated .alx file and it should load the app in the list of files on the BB. Make sure the box is checked and finish the installation.
