Default blackberry curve trackball does not work.

Please Login to Remove!

i can scroll left to the right and go up with trackball but can not scroll down with trackball.
anybody has the same problem?
it is only couple of days old

this used to happen to my pearl...i think its caused by lint or something getting into the trackball...

turn the phone over so the keypad faces down. and rub it up and down on your pant leg....it nomally causes whatever is stuck in there to come out and it starts working fine again.

Yes, this is posted about quite often in the Pearl section. Lint or dirt gets between the ball and the roller preventing it from moving the roller. Pushing on it while rolling it helps, also you can blow on it real hard or use one of those small cans of compressed air for cleaning keyboards. It just happens from time to time, especially if you put it in your pocket.
