Default pop3 email & bis

Please Login to Remove!

I would love to have my POP3 email address (based on a groupwise system but the admin gave me an IP address for outgoing and incoming mail, etc to use as a pop email) .. but I have BIS. do I need to download a 3rd party app or is there a way to get this on my blackberry like the rest of my email addresses?

cingular.com/blackberrystart .. it will only show up as the IMAP version, no POP3

How about a little more info.
What e-mail addy is this- Yahoo, Gmail etc or a company e-mail?

If this is mail that lands on your PC at work and you want it to then be sent to the BB you should have it forwarded to your BB address.

More info will produce more answers from the forum, as I read your post it is confusing what your setup is but then again I don't know Groupwise or what it does. I can help with BIS.

Are you saying that when you set it up in BIS that it only shows up as IMAP and you can't change it to POP?

when entering in the info, purposely type the info wrong (wrong password). it will bring you to an advanced setup page where you can choose POP3 or IMAP. that's what it's like for T-Mobile
