Default Blackberry Messanger Help

Please Login to Remove!
I am currently using the Blackberry Curve and my wife has the Pearl. She just switched to the new RED Pearl from Cingular wireless, and we are not able to setup a link via Blackberry messenger. I have tried uninstalling hers and reloading it, but I am still not able to link them. It does not send a request to the other phone, and it only shows pending. Can anyone help? Thanks

Are you sending the requests via PIN?

I click on add contact and go to her name. Her PIN is added to my address book so I click on her name.

In BBMessenger go to "add contact." Then just highlight her name (don't click the Pearl) and click the menu key (left of the pearl button) and select "Request (PIN) xxx"
