I know Fido BB connect is the same as Rogers BB connect and was wondering if anyone with a Rogers Curve has tried using a Fido SIM card without having to get it unlocked. Since Rogers and Fido are pretty much the same since the company purchase I was wondering this. Looking to purchase a Rogers curve but was wondering if I needed to get it unlocked too. Thanks!!!
I would have to agree with perfect storm. When at&t (Cingular) bought out AT&T wireless, the AT&T wireless sim cards could not work in the Cingular phones.
That is true but a Fido sim will not work in a locked Rogers device even though Rogers now owns Fido. This is what the original thread poster was inquiring about.
