Default AT&T Return Policy

Please Login to Remove!

I'm currently on T-Mobile and I'm not thinking about switching to AT&T anytime soon but I do want the Curve.

If I go buy the Curve from a AT&T Store, I believe I have 30 days to return if I don't like it right? And does it matter if it's unlocked? ( well, I have to unlock it to use on T-Mobile)

Thanks,

Yes you have 30 days to return with all original packing and accessories. I returned mine yesterday due to the calendar sync problem. They really have no way of checking to see if it is unlocked. Make sure you do a full wipe before returning to restore to original condition and settings if you decide to return.

They certainly do have a way of checking to see if it is unlocked... just like you are able to check it. However, it is unlikely that they will check that for return purposes.

But if they do check it, it's that gonna be a problem?

Sorry if this is the wrong post. So I got my curve a week ago and went to reply to an email the first time I hit the tracK ball then reply, typed my message and went to hit send and it isn't anywhere in the menu....what the heck. Am I doing something wrong? HELP!! AT&T was clueless.

Okay as corrected above they can check it by putting in a SIM from another carrier, which is unlikely. So there is a slight risk. Since the carries provide unlock code you might not have a problem IF they check. They asked me for my AT&T # when I bought mine. Not sure if they will give you trouble if you try to buy their phone w/o a plan. If they do, think of something to explan your purchase other than using it on another providers system. Hope this helps.

Dream, all "they" have to do is the same as you or I--enter a code at the SIM card screen on the BB.

Likewise, as Dream said, it should NOT be a big deal or problem. But you asked the question so I answered it...

Whoozer--If you don't have SEND on your menu, you may not have a service book for your mail setup. Since you don't provide much detail of your problem--Have you sent mail before?
For now, pull the battery and reboot and see if that brings your service book back, it could. If not , post again for other suggestions.
If you need to send your service books, read here:
