Question Desktop Software Confusion

Please Login to Remove!

I know this is probably the ultimate stupid question, but I previously had a treo, so I don't know what I am doing with my blackberry (obviously). I have everything set up on device perfectly, but when I try to use the calendar or address book or whatever on my desktop, I don't know where to look. The Desktop Manager simply has icons for syncing my device, loading apps, backup and restore, media manager (which seems to only be photos and videos) and switch device wizard (which would have been super helpful but didn't seem to be compatible with my treo).

Anywho, can someone tell me where I can find all my phone's functions on my computer? I know I'm probably just an idiot, but I really can't figure it out.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Your calendar and PIM info syncs with another program like outlook or groupwise. There is no BB desktop app for managing this.
You must configure it to connect to whichever you use in the synchronize settings of DM.

Default Desktop Software Confusion

Are there some step-by-step instructions somewhere that I could follow to do that? I have outlook, but I'm not sure how to sync the two. My manual mentioned nothing about this.

Thanks
