I use tasks instead of appts on outlook when I want to regenerate a recurrence of the task at some point relative to when I complete the first instance of the task, rather than relative to a fixed date (like replacing the AC filters every 3 months - it is reset after I actually replace the filter, not every 3 months, whether I change it or not).

Is there a way to do this with the tasks on the BB? When I try to mark such a recurrent task as completed, the curve complains that a completed task cannot have a recurrence. Any other way to do this?

I have tried that as well with no success and thus reverted back to the calendar for repeating appointments--less hassle in the long run.
