Default Blackberry Curve on T Mobile UK? - 07-06-2007, 03:03 AM

Does anyone have a release date for the Curve on T Mobile UK?

I have tried searching the forums, but didn’t find anything UK specific.

Thanks

however I am (was) a TMobile UK customer till yday morning, with an 8700g, and I am switching to O2, where the curve is available, but especially where there is an unlimited BB data plan (actually 75Mb a month as fair usage policies, but muche more than than the TMobile 3Mb.

Default O2 and BES - 07-09-2007, 02:14 AM

I hope you don’t wish to ever connect to a BES server with O2. I have found it impossible for users with an O2 consumer tariff to connect to a BES.

Anyone else come across this?

FYI – T Mobile and Vodafone have no problems and switch users from BIS to BES immediately.

Chris

I'm with TM-UK. I use their Web & Walk plan with my 8700g. I get unlimited data for BB *and* browsing/other applications (general GPRS APN). I pay a premium for this, but at least the Blackberry plan bit is reduced (W&W plus BB is less than the two plans separately). I bolt this on to one of their Flext plans (for voice and SMS).

you best bet is to either call t-mobile or go into one of their many shops if possible..... or switch over to Vodafone

dont really understand the attraction of t-mobile in the UK, pretty crappy network from my experience

I have found the T-Mobile UK network much improved over the last 6 months to the point where I wouldn't consider that a reason to swap networks.

Yup - I just upgraded a contract direct with T-Mobile UK on which I was entitled to an upgrade, with a 8300 from Carphone. They seem to have some deal together whereby you can go to Carphone for an upgrade phone if T-Mobile UK don't themselves stock it.

The 8300 was unlocked when I got it. The T-Mobile UK BIS site wouldn't recognise the new 8300 until I put my T-Mobile SIM in it. Then all went ok. I don't know if this is now a truely unlocked 8300, or having in effect registered it with T-Mobile UK, I would have a problem using it on another network in the future. I know that BB's are normally associated with a particular operator as far as the BIS is concerned... Anyway, it's a nice silver and unbranded device, so that's nice.

Came with a 128MB microSD card too, and a poor slip case. So ordered a decent case and a set of BestSkinsEver for it...

Default 8310 Delayed on T Mobile UK - 09-21-2007, 04:20 AM

I have been told by multiple sources at T Mobile UK that the Curve 8310 has been delayed until early November.

Has anyone else heard anything to the contrary?
