I've just got my first blackberry (yesterday) and it is on O2 - I noticed a number of newer OS versions are out but the one on the O2 website is the same version as I have already but I was wondering if there is a newer version of the O2 one floating around anywhere?

i am with O2 as well in UK, got the curve from last sunday.
first thing I did is OS update, you can find download and instructions (easy) in the 2 first posts of this 8300 forum.

then you should have version 2.4.0.53
You can check this first on your BB, press ALT+SHIFT(aA)+H

I'm on AT&T in the USA, however I too have an O2 Curve that I bought in the UK, when they were first introduced. The version above is what I'm currently using and it works quite well. I would suggest this to anyone.
