I just got my 8300.
I have configured my Yahoo and Netscape emails. Now I want to forward my outlook emails from work to my 8300.

Where can I download Mail Connector or Mail Redirector?

I have desktop manager installed on my laptop.
I don't see any options for redirector at all in there.

What am I missing?

REINSTALL it and you gonna get to a point to select BES/redirector or BIS

CHOOSE FIRST OPTION

assuming you use BIS, it is not set up thru your desktop software...

when on the BIS website, "setup a new email account" and when asked for address and password only enter the address. choose "I will provide the settings for this account" and then "work email account"... it will then ask you how you use your account and choose "I always use Outlook to retreive my mail"... it will then lead you to download the mail connector. simple once you do it once...

I reinstalled the blackberry OS on my laptop.
I now see the extra icon for email settings.

As far as I can see, the email has been set up correctly.
However, nothing gets forwarded (I made sure to set the redirector to forward also when the BB is connected).

What am I missing now?

My Outlook-based email is not running on exchange server (it's using POP3/SMTP) and I do not have BB Enterprise server installed anywhere that I am aware of.

All I want is for incoming messages to be forwarded to my BB.

Never mind.
Closed and restarted Desktop manager and Redirector and now everything works.

redirector is not BES. redirector watches you outlook and then forwards the to you email. but requires you to leave your machine on 24-7

did you try setting up the email u have in outlook on BIS? might work if its a POP/IMAP
