Default Backup Error

Please Login to Remove!

I just tried to do a Backup of my 8300 using the Desktop Manager (latest version). I get an error messages when it is "Receiving Profiles." It says: Communication Error. "The data was not recognized by the device." All I can do is click OK, at which point it jumps to Organizing Databases, and shuts down.

Since my last successful backup, I have installed Empower email viewer version 2 (replacing version .91) and SimulSays.

Anyone experiencing a similar problem? Thanks.

Chris

I did not intend to submit duplicate threads. When I hit Submit, the page never loaded, so I hit it again. I also tried reloading the BB Forums home page, but could not. It looked like the site was down. Sorry about that.
