Default transferring videos to 8300

Please Login to Remove!

i tried to transfer some videos using roxio, even converted them and all and it didnt play on the media player! there was just some kind of error
one video was ripped from google video in mp4 format
the others were from my digital camera

does anyone have any idea what ive got to do to make these play
also
are there any good 3rd part media apps?

i don't have a curve but this might be of help => How_do_I_encode_video_for_use_on_my_device

and this => What_video_and_audio_formats_are_supported

I used anydvd mobile converted it to an avi file using the creative zen vision M settings. (Because I use that for my MP3 player) Then transfered over to the SD card by dragging and dropping. You can get the software at slysoft.com they have a 21 day free trial.

Guys,

Had my 8300 for a while now, but thought the conversion software that came with the BB was pants. It was never in sync.

Thankfully came across soe software which was wicked....

+1 for AnyDVD by Slysoft. The file creation wizard rocks and they just updated the app with 8800 and Pearl support. I've been creating videos for the 8800 and they play perfectly on my Curve. The audio might be a little off but not enough to be annoying.

ive been converting youtube videos using free software called SUPER. works pretty well

Thanks for the suggestion - works great! However, I have a bit of an audio sync issue. . .
