I'm a bit confused. I have tried using my images and images availble at sites like Interfacelift for my front display background. Why is it that all of them don't fill the screen and only occupy a rectangular band that leaves space at the top and bottom.

They need to be 320x240

Before setting them as a desktop zoom in on them.

No luck---I downloaded pics that were the right size, but as soon as I go to save them as my wallpark---they go the rectangular shape. Zooming in didn't help.

I've run into this myself, I found the issue to be theme based. For example, I had the issue with my AT&T theme on my 8800 but then I switched to the BB Dimension Icon one and it worked fine.

I think Andrew hit the nail on the head------how does one get a theme that would support full screen wallpaper?--I have a Curve--of course.



PS---Just tried it and yes, you get the rectangular banding using the ATT theme but the BB themes work perfectly---

Yes, the banners in some themes are not transparent.
