hey folks...my new bb 8300 arrived in the mail! i put my sim card and storage card in (putting the storage card in turned out to be much harder than i thought it was going to be/should have been). anyway, i'm learning fast, as this is my first bb. all in all, a fun 4 hours. i have downloaded and installed bb desktop manager, and i have successfully synced my hand-held with my outlook account. perfect. no problems. however, my Media Manager wont run. i get a message that says "Runtime error! The application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way...Please contact the application's support team for additional information"

what am i doing wrong??? i want to load all of my mp3 ringtones!

You can load your mp3's without Media Manager. Be sure and format the card under Options >Advanced Options >Media Card >Menu Key >Format Card.

Then enable mass storage mode and plug into the PC. Go to My Computer and you should show a removeable drive (usually F:\ drive.) Simply copy and paste your mp3's into the music folder on the f:\ drive.

that worked like a charm. guess i can go to sleep now : )
