Need more info here....but restart the computer and restart the BB (by removing the battery) and try again. Have you tried a different usb port?

Tried all of the suggestions but still not working. What else do you need to know?

Have you tried a diagnostic? Open up Desktop Manager (When your curve is connected) Go to Options>Connection Settings>Detect "USB"

I tried that too. It gives me the message that "Please Ensure that Device is Connected Properly" and then "Device not Found". I know that the USB works because it shows that the blackberry is charging.

look for the blackberry in the device manager. if it as a yellow triangle with an exclamation point, this is your problem. right click and hit properties. go to the driver and click remove. the driver should reload solving the problem. i don't know why but this happens fairly often.

Okay problem solved. I was checking the Blackberry Device Manager and not my computer's Device Manager. Once it clicked in my head that is what you were talking about I found the problem and deleted it.

Thank you.
