Default Any T-Mo people with an 8300?...

Please Login to Remove!

Just wondering if anyone on T-Mo has an unlocked 8300 from Cingular or wherever and if its working right or not.

Just asking because it seems, for me at least, that T-Mo service suffers when I try to install a different OS on my BB. I tried using a newer 4.2 OS on my Pearl and it acted funny, calls would go straight to voicemail. When I tried using 4.2 on my 8700g, I got this weird issue, after a certain amount of time, my call would get muted. The person on the other line can still hear me, but I can't hear them.

I was going to get the 8800, but I think the 8300 is what I want. I am just wondering if anyone is having issues with the 8300 on T-Mo or not.

Thanks.

Cool. I just wanted to make sure you guys didn't have funky call issues with it.

I am thinking about getting one from the AT&T store and unlocking it. Would that be a good solution, or should I get an unlocked one off eBay?

You may consider that the 83x0 is rumored from very good sources to come to T-Mo this summer. August-October is the best guesstimate. Tho there's a counter-rumor that says it will be an 88x0. Plus, it (they) should have WiFi.

I can't find jibi's summary of what's supposed to be dropping. Maybe he'll be good enough to post the T-Mo summary here.
