Default Micro SD card?

I was reading about Micro SD cards and some can be reconizged right away and others cant? Is that right? Any thoughts on a Transcend 4 GB vs a San Disk 4 GB?

I bought a 2Gb Kingston card from Buy.com. After $10 Google check out discount and after rebate the total cost was like $7. It worked right away without any issues. Didn't have to format it or prep it in any other way.

Love the ability to play MP3 on my Curve. I don't know what other people were complaining about with respect to the music player. It seems perfectly fine to me.

I can't get my sms txts to go to my SD card. I configured it to send them to inbox on the card, but I still see them going to device memory.

if you mean you go to Options->SMS Text and you have "Leave Messages on SIM Card" set to "Yes"... this does not mean the microSD card, it is the SIM card in the phone...

if not, I apologize...
