Got my Curve today from ATT Premier. Not happy. The side button for the camera is so weak that i have to use my fingernail to push it in far enough to activate it. The volume keys are only slightly better. I can't believe RIM would put out a product like this. I may stay with the 8800, which is built like a rock (even if it squeaks). What should I do?

Exchange it for a new curve, if you think yours has issues.

Take the Curve back to AT&T and have the device replaced.
What you're describing about the buttons is not typical. Sounds like you've just got a bad unit. Unlucky, but it happens.
AT&T will rectify the issue for you.

That button does sit a little further down than the rest of them.

Listen! As several memebrs of this forum have stated, this is NOT typical of a RIM product. Check around here and you will find few product defects. If you try hard enough and look closely you will find a squeek here and there but yours is NOT typical.

If your replacement is the same, someone hates you for sure!

When you get the replacement, try it out as soon as you get it so you don't hav e to keep goin back and fourth

Sorry you have to strain your finger so much on a button to make the camera work. Pushing a button is so hard. Send it back.
