Default Did you get a wired stereo headset with your Curve?

I have a Curve from O2, and I just checked the box last night and pulled out the stereo wired headset. I really don't have much of a use for it, but wanted to see how it sounds with music and movies....

Well, RIM included a 2.5mm headset with my Curve. A lot of good that does me.

I've talked to another O2 Curve user and I know he has this issue with his two Curve's, but I want to know who else has this problem, and what carrier your device is from. I'm thinking it may just be O2 Curve's.

You should have one that fits the Curve. If it is the wrong size contact the point of sale for the proper one. Likely a mix up when packaged.

I agree 100%, but a RIM rep was contacted and suggested that it was swicthed at the carrier. I find that hard to believe.

The carrier likely does its own packaging so the mix up was at that stage. Not so hard to believe anymore! The curve wass released with a serious calendar synch problem and it took weeks and weeks to get a patch! Now that is hard to believe!

I just don't see the carrier doing their own packaging. O2 branding is no where on the box, just BlackBerry. I have also had someone of Cingular tell me they had the same issue. I guess a few of us just got unlucky.

No way it was a mix up at RIM. You got to realize that thousands of these things are coming down the line and they only have the parts that should go in the box within reach of their people putting teh parts in the box.

I would bet an employee at the dealer made the switch.

So what you're saying Greg is that it was packaged at RIM, but the seal on the box isn't applied until after it reaches the carrier, in this case, O2, and there was some switching going on there?
