Default Seperate email folders?

Please Login to Remove!

I have two email accounts on my 8300, one for work (BES) and one personal (BIS). My personal email has its own folder (with small globe). My work email shows up in the "messages" folder combined with my personal email.

Within either of these folders if I select options > general options > SMS and email Inboxes > separate I no longer get personal mail combined with work in the messages folder (which is what I want) but then I can't send or receive personal email anymore.

Selecting "theme controlled" acts the same as "combined", both email accounts show up in the messages folder.

Is there anyway to set multiple email accounts so that each account has its own folder?

you probably have the icon for your work email hidden... alt+click and "show all" then highlight the missing icon and deselect "hide", then move it to where you want... same thing happened to me, hope this is your issue as it is a quick and easy fix

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8800/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

There is another option where it asks if theme will dictate this or not so you might try that option.

I thought that you were on to something with the "show all" suggestion. That just produced a grayed out compose email and saved messages icon. No work email folder.

Also, selecting theme works the same as combined.
