When I use the keyboard lock the only way to unlock it is by clicking on the * and the phone icon. I also get the "Unlock" "Emergency Call" "Cancel" screen when I scroll up on the track ball, but I can't get it to unlock when I hit enter when the "Unlock" is highlited. I hit every button that I can think of that might work but none of them unlock the "unlock".

No, you arent doing anything wrong. If I had one complaint about this phone, that would be it. I was able to single handedly unlock my 7130c pressing the wheel twice. I am REALLY hoping RIM releases some kind of patch to have the trackball act as the wheel did for unlocking purposes.

same here. found it to be very annoying and akward. And has someone also notice the bcklight does not lit up immediately when click on the track ball before you try to unlock the phone?
