Default removing apps from berry that I don't want

Please Login to Remove!

how do I remove things i don't want? For instance I had put on the handango for free, it doesn't work right, probably wasn't loaded on properly in the first place. When I go to my BB manager to the add/delete apps, it only gives me options for add-ons, the delete option is always shaded....

Is there a way to take programs you don't want off berry without using the desk top manager?
thanx

well I had done that, a few times, but revisited it after your post to make sure I wasn't missing something, and it worked out so thanx. What I was trying to do was to check mark it then hit delete, when in actuality to remove, I had to "un check" it, and it then says "remove" next to it, and then by clicking finish it finally gets removed (even though the confirmation for the removal is "it was loaded properly"),,,,either way, its off now, so thanx for having me go back to the application loader.

now can you help me with the ATT shop stuff? is that something that has to stay? Cuz it isn't third party app, but on my curve when I purchased it.

Jelly Bean, you got it right on the deletion in App Loader, uncheck to delete. The ATT shop stuff... don't know what you mean. Is that Media Net? Just hide that it you don't need it.

k, will try and hide...
media net is a separate icon. the others show up as 7 separate ones too: shop tunes, shop graphics, shop themes, shop mulit-media, shop games, shop applications, shop tones!

I guess it is a way to make money for AT&T? I haven't tried to load from there, but I assume it isn't all free. It makes the BB desktop look messy, so will try and hide and not delete, just in case I do want to shop later.

Do other cell providers do this? For instance t-mobile?

do you know the pathway to have them hidden?

I don't have those icons on my AT&T BB. They are likely simply browser icons to take you directly to those sites.

To hide them, highlight over one, press ALT + menu key (the BB icon key left of the track ball. Choose Hide Application. Move on to the next that needs hiding.

how do I do it the same? how do I highlight the icon if it is hidden? I tried to hit ALT+ Menu, show all randomly (not over any specific icon), and nothing showed up.

Again you have been a big help btw, and still appreciated this am

Yes, you can't highlight an icon that is hidden, lol. You do the SHOW ALL, and they will appear. The "hidden" ones will appear ghosted or faded in appearance. If you don't have any icons hidden, then there none to unhide.

When you want use a certain hidden app again, you SHOW ALL as mention, the ALT + Menu once again to remove the check mark next to the HIDE APPLICATION.

You are welcome, no problem.

Default To get rid of "Shop" icons

You can delete the service books to get rid of them for good.

Options>advanced>Service Book

Media Mall - "Icon Name" Menu button and delete

Low, did you look in Modules?

Options > Advanced > Applications. Then click to Modules.

Default moving icons into apps folder--- HELP!

I want to clean up my main screen and move game icons into the apps folder.. was told this could be done on the Pearl by menu | move icon and then scrolling over the apps folder.. told that i would get a message stating 'move into apps folder' and if i went back to menu | complete move it would go into the apps folder. I've tried this but all it does is move the icon to the right or left of the apps folder and i never get the message. Does anyone know if this is true and can be done or if it works on the Pearl? I would love to be also be able to create a new folder if that is possible as well!
Any help is appreciated..
