Default Full DVDs?

Please Login to Remove!

So, I ripped a DVD to a mp4 and put it on my blackberry...and when i watch it and i try to scan forward or backward through the movie, my blackberry locks up and resets. Has anyone one else tried to put full length movies on their device? Anyone else having any luck?

Thanks!

Yes I've put a few. Def just an encoding issue on your side. I've done Lord of the Rings, Return of the King which with the settings I used made it a 700mb file. played just fine.
oh and if it helps I used mencoder to make it an .avi I didn't use the roxio stuff that is with the BB software if that is what you did.

Handbrake for the Mac is great. Take a look at visualhub. This multi-encoder honestly eats everything, from WMV to flv etc. and it exports everything, is easy to use and if you own more than one MAc, you can form a grid with some clicks so your macs can share the encoding work between them. A gem in the Mac encoding world.
find it here... VisualHub: The Universal Video Converter for Mac.
