Default Viigo killing my internet? - 07-23-2007, 06:45 PM

I just got Viigo a week ago and since than, the internet on my 8830 has been very on and off - in a sense - I'm not sure how to put it exactly but it seems like it disconnects my internet connection or something of the likes.

Ever since I've uninstalled it - the internet has been stable and gotten better - but I'm curious - because it doesn't seem like anyone else has a problem like this.

Any opinions about this?
I really do like Viigo but if it renders my internet useless - than I have to get rid of it.

I don't notice that problem at all with Viigo. What's your update interval set at? Maybe your memory is getting crammed. I'd disable save on exit and look to see what your memory utilization is from all apps. Settings -> Options -> Status

8300 Curve: viigo, gmail, google maps, way too many emails/day

Default I seem to have a similar problem.. - 07-24-2007, 12:23 PM

Newbie here...so be nice!

I just installed Viigo, and I like the thing - but I've noticed that my new Curve has slowed down since it was installed - sorta feels like a memory leak or something...

It's not just the internet - the whole machine slows down - including moving through menus and other apps...

Any ideas? I'd have to have to lose Viigo...

Maybe your running out of memory.. try deleting some applications, that you don't need, clearing cache etc..

Ah....hadn't thought of that...

I'll give it a try.

Not to get too off topic but:

Can apps be stored on SD memory? I have a card coming in the mail - should get here this week...
