Default Curve help?? - 07-23-2007, 07:50 PM

Hi.. i'm pretty new here, but the long and short of this is that my phone has broken and i've been advised to go for a blackberry [im in the uk].
So, so far the curve seems my favourite, but am wondering when the 3320 [i think] will most likely be coming out in the UK! If it's a while yet, i'm not going to hold on.. unless the browser on the curve is really slow?

I was wondering if anyone could tell me the difference between browsing the web on a curve, and the new curve which will have wi-fi?
I've been told the browser is really awful, the webpages are messy and quite slow.. does it cost anything and do you just connect wirelessly..or how does it all quite work?

I'm a complete BB noob..although reading through these forums have helped a lot..i'm just looking for a little help please =]

edit: And thanks =]

Well first off, I think you mean the 8320 (not 3320). However there is no release date or even proof that the 8320 is around at this point, so it way be a while. And second, the edge on the 8300 works pretty well. No it's not lightning, but it's quick enough, about 5 to 8 seconds slower then 3G or evdo.

All in all the Curve is a pretty damm good device, and I would definitely give it a thumbs up! No harm in giving it a try.

Ha! oops, i did mean the 8320. I just went into the network store i'm currently on, and they don't have the curve, however i asked about it and she said she was getting it in late August. So i asked whether that was the curve that's out at the moment, or the new one that's being talked about with Wi-fi. So she went away to go ask someone, came back and told me it was the curve with Wi-Fi....? Anyway, i was put on the system to call as soon as they came in.

So i really have no idea now. lol
