JIVETALK on ATT network

i was wondering if one can use JIVETALK on ATT's regular blackberry personal plan on the Blackberry Curve.

I do, so far so good, they (jivetalk) say that it is data not text, I hope so as I have done a ton of texts this month...

did you simply just download it onto the phone, or did you have to change the TCP/IP Configuration?

You may need to change the TCP configuration. It's simple. Go to Options >Advanced Options >TCP.

Set the following:

APN:wap.voicestream.com
username
password

leave username and password blank.

I think those settings are for T-Mobile. He said he was on AT&T. :-)

That darn John Clark is just so silly.

I could see the confusion though - the OP's profile says he's on T-Mobile, but the question stated it was about AT&T (maybe for a friend, or he's considering switching?)
