My hardware:
8300 curve
d-link DBT 120 Bluetooth dongle
HP DV6150US with Vista Business

The laptop and the Curve can 'see' each other.
When I try to set up a new network connection on the laptop and I select Bluetooth, I get the prompt to search for a PAN (Personal Access Network).

I then get the message that no PAN-enabled devices are found.

Can someone please tell me what I'm missing?

No-one is using their 8300 as a bluetooth modem in Vista? I'm the only one?

I have tried to use DUN via Bluetooth on my 8300 with Vista, XP and my WM5 device. Although I've been able easily pull it off with other phones such as my Moto Razr, I was unable to with the 8300. It seems that the 8300 does not adverise any available bluetooth services. So yeah, the devices find each other, connect but have nothing to do. I would love to see someone tell me I'm wrong and missing something easy here.

I believe a similar issue is happening with 8100 blackberry's. We just have to wait for the vista drivers that will show the services in windows vista.
