| I have the Jabra BT620 stereo headset and have used it with about ten HTC Windows Mobile phones... the sound quality varies wildly among the different models.
I just got my Curve yesterday and paired the Jabras to it last night, however I couldn't get the music to play through the headset. If I hit Menu --> Activate Jabra 620 a box pops up and says 'waiting on Jabra...'. I can however, control the tracks and use the play/pause button on the headset.
I shall keep trying tonight and see if I can get it to work, and report back.

| As a follow up, I tried again last night and still can't get the stereo to work through the Jabras. I confirmed that 'stereo music' is listed as an available service under the Jabra device properties.
I paired my old Creative CB 2530 headphones with my Curve and they work fine, so I don't know why it is.
If anyone has any insight as to why this is, please feel free to chime in.
Thanks,
Adam

| Try removing the connection, pulling the battery on the Curve, then try re-pairing. Don't know if it'll work for you, but I had the same problem with my headset and after doing that, I can now listen to my music in my bluetooth headset. | | Offline

| I tried deleting the device, power cycling then re-pairing the Jabras. Since the play/pause ff/rw buttons work even though the sound is coming from the phone itself, I think it has to do with the fact that when the headset is turned on, the Blackberry is 'attached' to its handsfree profile, not the stereo profile. I don't know how to have the BB not attach to the handsfree profile.
Anyone have any other ideas? To me, A2DP is one of the perks of this device! It's one of the main reasons I came back to BB from Windows!

| I just wanted to say that I just received my Jabra BT620s today and have successfully paired it with my 8310 Curve. The phone part of it worked right away, but I had trouble getting it to work with the media player. I deleted the device from the phone, rebooted with SoftReset, repaired the device and it works now. I'm still waiting for the adapter to use with my iPod to test out how it works with multiple devices. So far 2 thumbs up! I haven't called anyone with it yet except for my voicemail LOL. This even works with flipside however you can't control it with the headset, but maybe in future updates you will be able to. My only gripe with it is that it is heavy on my ears, but that may just be me, plus I wear glasses. My Plantronics Bluetooth headset was heavy after some time as well. I just may be sensitive. | | Offline
