Is it possible to change the order of items in a menu?

I ask because I am thinking about getting a Curve from AT&T but I will be using it primarily for SMS. I have no plans right now to use it with email (the service is darn expensive IMO). So I would like to put write a new SMS at the top of the menu, where write a new email is now.

Is this possible?

If you're talking about icons on the homescreen, that's possible. If you're talking about the list of items on the items in applications' menus, that's not.

Either way, highlight the icon you would like to move and press the BB button. This will pull up the options menu. Choose move and you can then use the trackball to put it whever you would like. You can also create folders and drop items in as you would like. Depending on your theme, if you would like to rearrange the icons on the home screen, they are simply the first 5 in the apps section. Hopefully this is what you were looking to do.
