I'm trying to put music on my Blackberry Curve. I just installed the CD that came with it and connected the phone to my computer via the provided USB cord.

Now when I click on Media Manager I get a message that says...

"Media Manager is only supported using a USB connection. To run media manager, please connect your device to your computer using a USB cable."

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Have you tried closing out the app, disconnecting the BB and then doing it over again? (opening app and connecting the BB). My guess would be that the pc does not recognize the device.

Also, make sure your desktop software is up to date. You may have to update the software to a newer OS. This sometimes picks up the BB since you may be missing a few drives. Hope that helps.

Go into Blackberry Desktop Mgr, click options, connection settings, and choose connection: USB.

I got the same error and the above steps resolved.
