Default new curve restarting

Please Login to Remove!

i've had my curve for 4 days now...it has restarted a total of 3 times...i know for sure that 2 of them happened while i was visiting websites...the third time i'm not exactly sure what i was doing....i am sure this isn't normal operations of a blackberry...this is a personal BB on a BIS, if that matters at all...

so, should i see about returning it for a new one? could this be the result of a bad theme (i'm using the Leopard theme)?

any thoughts would be appreciated...

Some of the Curves have this problem. It could also be the theme. Try using another theme for a while. If it still restarts take it back and exchange it.

I think you need to return it for an exchange. Since you are within your 30 return period you can get a NEW device rather then going through warrenty exchange and getting a refurbished one.

Exchange it since you are within the 30 day period. Mine restarted a few times during the first couple weeks. I tried a few things and then it was fine. Then about a week after the 30 day trial period was over it lost its mind and restarted three times in one day while I was on a call. Because I thought it was temporary and waited too long, I ended up doing the warranty exchange. My replacement Curve (which is surely a refurb) actually works much better but I would imagine that you would rather replace your new phone with another brand new one while you still can.

Mine restarted primarily smack in the middle of calls, though it restarted once while surfing the web. I've had my replacement three or four weeks now and I've not had a single problem. The warranty exchange was painless actually but I wish I had jumped on it sooner and just exchanged in store.

I love my Curve, especially now that I have a correctly functioning one.
