Default Blackberry Messenger Help

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, I've been looking around for the past 2 days all over forums/google etc and I still have a few questions on BB messenger and the trouble im having.
Any help would be awesome.

I also have AT&T and no internet service plan, but do have unlimited text/pic/video etc. (if that helps)

What are the requirements for BB Messenger to work?
Internet service? Data Plan (which is?)

When I added my dad on my messenger it said his name was pending and he never got a request, and I tried vice versa with him sending me a request and still the same. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks, any help is appreciated.

Wirelessly posted (Breaking Ball: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8300/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

You need a Blackberry Data Plan in order to use BlackBerry Messenger.

Once you have a Blackberry Data Plan, you can then send/receive messages with other blackberry devices.

blackberrry data plan is where you can view internet pages via browser, download off the internet and etc. so in other words kind of like an internet plan?

Yes, it is kind of like an internet plan, designed specifically for blackberry devices.

It enables web browsing, push email, pin messaging, blackberry messenger, mapping software, and most other software that requires an internet connection.
