I'm asking because T-Mobile is supposed to release the 8320 soon and perhaps this OS would fix some of the issues with an unlocked curve on TMo. Perhaps someone with 8800 experience would know...
Thinking of selling my unlocked curve now while it's still got value and waiting on the 8320 from Tmo if I can't ever update my OS.
There's no way to be sure we won't
see updates that work with TMo for the 8300. I'm still optimistic that this will be worked out.
Re: putting an 8310 or 8320 OS on the 8300 - this is a big leap. The OS would have to be explicitily written to work on a family of devices, which is generally uncommon, as parts of it are usually customized to specific devices. This is not, however, totally unheard of. In short - it's possible, but unlikely, that this will work.
