Default Curve Newbie: Amazon Offering Best Deal?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

Getting a Curve and am excited. Would prefer VZ, but looks like AT&T is the only game in town for the Curve. The TMobile WiFi Curve sounds great, but I can't wait that long.

Is Amazon offering the best deal? In exchange for a 2 year deal, minimum voice and data plan, the cost is $58, with $75 in rebates. So including the $36 activation fee, the cost is $19.

Is that the best deal out there? Sorry for the newbie question.

Amazon is usually the best deal out there from a reputable site. You can sometimes find a slightly lower price from inphonic/wirefly or ebay but amazon is one of the lowest.

Just be certain you read and understand their terms and conditions. Getting the phone at their cheaper price puts you under some restrictions for the first 6 months.

If I wasn't already an AT&T user, that's where I'd go.

Amazon is the safest. Like the other poster said, be aware of the agreement as backing out will cost you money. After the trial period, even donating your first born will not get you out of the penalties.

Just be sure about the contract. Double check any fine print and compare the cost of the different components of the plan to AT&T's published price. I doubt an outfit like Amazon.com would try to slip one past you, but protect yourself and look carefully. Then jump all over that deal!

Amazon will not let you port your number to ATT
