I got my 8300 Blacberry few days ago and im trying to add my friend on the blackberry messenger, i put his pin and then shows pending. My friend didnt get any message about me adding him as a friend on the blackberry messenger. And then we try on his blackberry to put my pin and also appear the same thing 'pending'. Can anyone explain to me why s this happening??

You need to accept the message on the other to be added.

Or try by adding him via his email.

Can you send a normal PIN message to his BB (not through BB Messenger)?

I am positive. You do need a BB Data Plan for PIN messaging or BB Messenger.

BBM is free to use AS LONG AS you have an UNLIMITED BlackBerry Data Plan. It counts toward data, so if you have a 1GB/month Data Plan from your carrier, it could cost.
