Not sure what you mean. Are you syncing the BB with outlook? You know about archive function in outlook, right? Or are you talking something different?

Default Outlook Notes

Within Outlook there is feature that allows you to create notes similar to "post its" that contain data that you can readily retrieve, i.e. credit card numbers, bank accoounts, etc. They don't sync with your contact list.

Not sure what is meant by sync with contacts. Memo Pad on the blackberry syncs with Notes in Outlook. You must set this up in Desktop Manager and set it to sync with Outlook and also set the data you want sync'd (i.e. calendar, tasks, contacts, notes). Is that helping you?

Default Outlook Notes

In the desktop manger under options Contacts, Tasks and Memo Pad are listed, not notes. If I click on advanced settings notes appears under Outlook but it will not copy? The information in the file is data only.

I'm not at may compueter to see, but work through the tabs and menus. When you've selected outlook in Desktop Manager and then memo pad, do you see several radio buttons...one is refresh, another and then synchronize? Synchronize should be selected and the others greyed out. Is that the way it is?

Still don't understand exactly what you were seeing and what the problem was exactly, but, hey, glad to have helped out just the same.
