From what I can see...it looks like you two will be a couple of thousand miles apart on Monday. I think we're safe...

The phones are definitely out in a few specific "corporate stores" right now
in the LA area with another few opening sales tomorrow (Saturday 10:00AM) morning,
while the rest of the stores have no idea it is actually available even as we speak
and say sales begin coming week 24th or 25th.

For those in Southern Cali, I bought mine from the Montclair Plaza kiosk outside JC Penney. It is a corporate location, and the people there are very helpful. I don't know if they still have any, though.

I dialed 611 on my Pearl, ordered the Curve. I ordered this on Saturday night, 10:00 p.m., PDT, Sept. 22.

I too had the Pearl which I got as an upgrade in Sept 2006. Therefore, I did not qualify for the $250 new account price, but I did get an upgrade discount of $110.

So I got the phone with a two year extension, $400.

Did not hear anything about a two week hold period for existing T-Mo customers.

Just logged into my t-mobile account. Both color curves are there for me to upgrade. I haven't upgraded in over two years, its showing a price of $449.99(full retail) and a $299.99 w/ $50 (net $249.99) on a two year upgrade.

Don't see it available on t-mobile.com phone list though. Gonna wait till 24th to see if the price changes.

My husband and I got our Curves today in Titanium!!! I love it!!!

And actually, the pale gold wasn't all that bad -- but I'm glad we were able to get the color we really wanted.
