I just talked to an overly nice customer service rep at TMO and she told me that I can not order it until 9/30 and that she didn't have a price.

She did tell me that I would be able to use my upgrade to get the phone at a cheaper price, but that was the only good news.

Any Ideas?

Correct. Right now they are only available for new lines/activations.

each channel has its own launch, original retail and and t-mo.com were slated for the 24th, but any retail location that has any in-stock can sell them today.

8/30 ??? or do you mean 9/30?

I also just talked to my local store who told me that they would definettely be available on monday, which tells me they are already there, and that they will certainly honor any upgrade discounts.

I'm going to stop by there on my way home to see if I can pick one up.

I'm an existing tmobile customer, currently using an unlocked SE S710 from Cingular (previous carrier).

My apologies if this has been mentioned already, but I'm confused as to whether I'm eligible for an upgrade? I am not a corporate customer, I don't even have a blackberry, phone or plan yet.

Am I going to have to pay the 449 price or the 250?

just stopped by TMo and they said it will be 24th, ready and good to go... didn't say the prices though...

The CS lines are going to be flooded with upgrade calls come Monday morning.
