I am in southern California and have been experiencing the same problem with Gmail. Incoming e-mails form Gmail would come in a few hours after being sent by the sender. And when the messages came in, they wold come in batches (several e-mails at once). It almost seems like the server is only being polled every few hours. Normally, I would get them instantly. This problem has been going on since Thursday for me as well. My incoming e-mails via my BES are still working fine though.
