Do you know your carriers APN settings? And I will guess that you do have a BB Data Plan.

Also what errors are you getting and what operating system are you on?

Thanks

hi JSanders

i try it before but i face problems like

in step 7

If I check the modem, I get to following return:

ATQ0V1E0 - OK
AT+GMM - BlackBerry IPmodem
AT+FCLASS=? - COMMAND NOT SUPPORTED
AT#CLS=? - COMMAND NOT SUPPORTED
AT+GCI? - COMMAND NOT SUPPORTED ...

and in step 8

no SPECIAL CONFIGURATION STEP for ETISALAT users

and in step 9-7
no phone number for my carrier "ETISALAT" listed:

so that way will not work in UAE :(

I'm setting up one of our other computers and I get the same thing in step 7 about the COMMAND NOT SUPPORTED.

Also, I had configured one laptop when I was using my Pearl and it worked fine -- do I need to make any adjustments now that I am using a new device (with the same phone number)?
