@Sparkomatic
glad everything went well for you over the phone as well, it's funny i just got off the phone with a local store (Chino Hills) they just received there stock as well, but get this it's $299.99 after only a "$50.00" MIR, they were pretty stern that it was only $50.00 and not $100, who nows, didn't even want to argue with them.....

Thanks. Yeah, it's exciting enough that I want one but not enough to drive all over the place trying to find a store that had one. I figured if a store by me had one and was willing to sell it to me, I'd go unless I could order online. ha ha

Gonna have to do that in the morning if it's not on the site. Tired of dealing with cr today after they told me one thing and then said had to be exchanged today or returned at 4:45 and usps closes at 5.

Now that's funny. I would buy a crimson wrist band that said 'babyboobymommy' just to see the reactions on people's faces when they saw it.

I'm done. All the phone calls and follow-up and the (potential) hassle of driving around kind of take the fun out of it, eh?

Here's hoping that Amazon comes through for me before they show up at my local store.

So I called around several AT&T stores and it is hilarious how many of the reps are unaware of the new phone. They keep telling me "sir, you mean the 8820" - NO. But, I found two in my area that had Red 8310's but for the life of me, cannot find any ith Titanium. I just cannot bring myself to get the Red one and the sales person said he feels strong that he will have a Titanium by Thursday at the latest. I really hope he is right - otherwise I will just get a silver 8300 and be done with it. Can I ask - for those who have GPS - is Telenav good while traveling on biz and need directions to/from? Meaning - it is pretty user friendly and works well?

Picked up a red one yesterday evening in Allen, Tx. Called the store and they had one left...held it for me until I got to the store after work.Color looks even better than I thought it would. Played with the GPS as well and it seemed to work well.

I would like to get one of these as I seldom use my 8820 WiFi but I fear it will get dust behind the screen like my other 83xx series.

I wish I knew they had got this fixed.

letstalk has the red and titanium 8310's on the site now. Mine still says "backordered," even though they promote it as "in stock" on the site. Hopefully it WILL be "in stock" today, and mine will get shipped out.

Has anyone who ordered through phone sales received any emails about status? I haven't heard anything as of yet.

I ordered through Letstalk as soon as they were available on the site & just received an email yesterday that the "ETA" for shipment is 10/17 ...so if they ship them tomorrow I'm hoping to have it by Friday with the free 2 day delivery. Meanwhile, I just got a call from the local corporate AT&T store (who had my name down 1st in line when the 8310's came in) & they advised me they have them in stock ....go figure! I'd rather wait a few days to save the extra $$$. They told me the phone was $250 with a $100 rebate w/2 year contract. I can wait to save $150. Oh, and they ONLY got the crimson in ...I wanted the Titanium anyway.

Me too. This is the same exact deal as Amazon. They had a 10/17 ETA. I can wait the extra few days (I hope) to save $100.

I checked with one of our local Cingular store and they had no idea what the 8310 was nor did they know when it was coming in. I saw the price sheet and it had the model number blacked out but referred to red and titanium and showed that it was $229 with a $100 rebate. The person I was talking with in the store called their AT&T rep and she said that she had no knowledge about the phone or when it was coming out. This is Western North Carolina so it figures it would be slow.....But no idea? Come on. They have to have some idea as to when it is being released here!

Okay, just got mine in Chicago at the State Street store in the Loop. They got them in last night, and I was their first customer (at 11am, where are you peeps???)

Price in store was $299. But, I had them go to Premier, and they took an extra $150 off based on the 8300 Premier special, so I ended up paying $163 (incl. tax) for a crimson 8310 with two year agreement, and got a free bluetooth headset (which is probably no good, but free is free...).

I looked at the Titanium - nice but dull. The guy selling it and the trainee lady both thought a 30-something guy like myself could pull off a crimson phone in a business setting...

I don't understand how there can be so little communication within AT&T. Some stores have no idea what it is. Some stores are quoting November releases. Some stores are happily selling 8310s. And there's no mention of the 8310 on the premier or basic site. I'm new to AT&T, (actually, I'm still with vzw until the 8310 shows up on premier) is this normal of AT&T?

What is this "Premeir" site you guys keep mentioning? Obviously it's part of AT&T but... I'm lost. Please PM me if you don't want to share the info here. I've been a Cingular/AT&T customer for over 7 years and I feel like I'm in the dark about something.

premier is the site to order phones when your a business customer, like if you worked for UPS, you would have a discounted account through them and could upgrade phones with their discounted pricing

i got my titanium this morning in NJ...
so far so good

I got tired of dealing with premier and called my local store and somehow they were able to upgrade me and give me the better price. even though I have had 2 8300's and an 8800.

For anyone that does not want to sign a contract - I have both Crimson Red & Titanium units available. They came to us unboxed with oem accessories (battery, sync, charger) and are brand new.

We were previously questioned about whether or not we had these and we posted a photo of them in another forum.

Anyone interested I think we can sell either one for $449.99 plus shipping. They are here in stock and we can ship overnight if ordered before 6pm est.

If you are interested just send me a message and I can try to help you.
