not on mine either and after speaking to the premier rep, they have no clue when it will appear on Premier...
i must have called about 8 different stores and they all have them in stock except they wont sell it to me because I am not eligible for an upgrade at that discounted price... but through Premier, i could upgrade all i want...
this is frustrating..

Just got off the phone with Premier and they told me it was an issue that i needed to take up with my company and that they needed to request the phone be offered. Somehow that just doesn't seem right as i think every phone ATT offers (except maybe the iPhone) is offered on Premier.

I'm guessing that's not it. It's not even on the AT&T consumer site yet

nice!!!, so they just matched the "Special Offer" pricing on the current curve (that's being offered on the Premier site)?.....Did you have to really persuade them to do a match?...thinking of trying that, as I see that my order (from yesterday) seems like it still has not been shipped (according to the status)....i would love to get it at a better price and sooner as well.....hope all stores are like that and not just a crap shoot....
@jalm1
i ran into that last week (previous rumored release date of the 8310), same exact thing the Premier rep stated to me, i just blew it off and called back until i was able to speak to a rep more knowledgeable, although obviously the phone was not available yet, but other reps had no clue of why the previous person stated that to me.......who knows....good luck and hope you have a little more patience to keep calling....

Thanks for the update. while i would like to order it right now, or go out and get it RIGHT NOW. i think i can wait till it drops on the consumer site (hopefully today or tomorrow) and then see if it hit premier.

Got mine this morning at my store (Tacoma, WA). Called when the store first opened, the CSR said they had "plenty" of them. I confirmed he was referring to the correct phone. I get down there, and it turned out "plenty" was 3 phones which arrived that morning. Oh well, I can't complain, I've got mine and I'm happy now.

That's all I did was print out the 8300 Special Offer and just asked. He said sure... Even asked about the free BT headset and he looked but they didn't carry it. I didn't push trying to get another model, I figured the price was good enough.

Hey guys,
Went to my nearest AT&T store and was lucky enough to find a crimson curve waiting for me. I wasn't originally planning on getting the Crimson - preferred the titanium initially, but seeing it in person was tough to resist. Just got home and unboxed it, here is is a pic of the new curve along with my ol' reliable 8800c.
I'm still not completely sure if I'm planning on keeping this. I just looked at the receipt and it looks like I have 30 days to return it? Can somebody verify this (I did NOT upgrade my contract)? Not sure what I'll do when the titanium is released. But honestly, this red doesn't look too bad at all...
Can anyone post their pics of the titanium? I'm curious to see what it looks like in the flesh.

WOO HOO. Just reserved my titanium 8310 from an AT&T store in Seattle. They had three in stock. I'm picking it up tomorrow morning along with an Iphone for my wife.
This will be my first BB after using Treos for a couple years and and most recently a Q.

What happened to our AT&T employees and people with inside information? How can these be in stock across the country, but AT&T still maintain that they haven't been released yet? Any internal emails out there that someone wishes to share with us?

Yeah, its kind of weird. I went to two stores here in Boston and neither had them displayed. However, I asked about it and they were like "oh, yeah - we have those out back, I'll go and grab one for you". Was thinking, "why the heck are you keeping them in the back???"

You're welcome! Did Chris help you out? He was really helpful, and needs a nice bonus check from AT&T for making them look good (unlike the dudes over at AT&T on Monroe St, who treated me like an imbecile "there's no 8310"...)
To those looking for the Premier special: at the store they simply got my company name, and then pulled it up on the internet, and matched the Premier price, right down to the additional $25 online discount - that's $175 in incremental discounts and BT headset! In retrospect, I should have given my fiance's company's name, as they get a 10% discount on monthly service (we only get 5%).
One note on my new Crimson 8310: The GPS is sweet! I am sitting 30 floors up in downtown Chicago and get 3 satellites. My 8700g with the Holux puck is getting zero satellites.

Henderson/Las Vegas has the red ones in stock... I forgot to ask any of the stores if they had Titanium.
btw, "red" is a misleading adjective-- even "Crimson" doesn't really do the color of this phone justice. I had my misgivings before because I wasn't a big fan of the black keypad, but seeing it in person? None of the pictures I've seen posted so far adequately portray it-- it's more like a burgundy/wine-red with a gorgeous glossy finish. Very, very classy and elegant and not girly in the least!

From what I've been told, from a friend who owns a store (previous Cingular), is that this is not a new release. AT&T, it would appear, has not done any release of official information on this phone as this just replaces that 8300.
Stores will lie to you and tell you they don't know what they are talking about or that they won't be getting any because they want to sell their 8300 stock. I know.... I'm cynical. At least this is the opinion I've reached based on what I've been told.

But wasn't this the case with the 8820 as well? And when that came out, you could choose to buy either the 8800 or the 8820 both online and in the store.
It makes sense though. Why cannibalize an existing product?

I wasn't following that release. At some point you may be able to buy both the 8300 and 8310. Like I said, it's the opinion I've reached with what I've been told. They're not making a big deal about a "new" phone.
Until a couple days ago the 8820 was not listed on the AT&T site under the new phone section, but it was however listed with all the other BlackBerry phones. I guess sometimes you just can't figure out large corporations and some of the quirky things they do.

I don't think it cynical, I think its true. Since both phones are the same price for now, they're trying really hard to dump the older 8300's before they fully release the 8310's. I saw someone get talked into a 8300 at the AT&T store this weekend, I actually felt bad for them...Guess it's better than getting stuck with the iBrick...
