If anything, that's just going to leave them with a bunch of "refurbished" 8300s when people start returning their 8300s for 8310s within their 30 days.

Talking about iBrick. my last BB was a 7520. It was big but it was also as sturdy as a tank.

Like I said about large corps. I don't think they think that far. Or maybe they have a contract with BB Corp to return old returned product.

It looks the same as the Tmobile one...it was a good color also but went with the red one.

Really, though. It's such a classier color than I'd ever thought. Still... it only makes me more curious as to what the actual color of the Titanium is. It looks more like a frosted white in some pictures... in which case, I might have to resort to taking advantage of that 30-day return policy!

Hah, yes, i'm in the same boat. I do like the red, but admittedly, I'm more of a conservative guy. My wardrobe is....dark pants and blue-ish/white shirts. Not much of a metro either...not sure this bangin' red fits me? The drab gray seems like a shoe-in...

By the way: my 8310 does not microwave burritos, vacuum, freeze time, or calculate the meaning of life. Also, my GPS locates nearby businesses but it fails to actually transport me to them. Is my unit defective, or is this something an OS update can fix? I was led to believe by highly reliable sources in the Rumor Mill forum that the 8310 would do all these things and much, much more.

Some of our CSRs here, though... when I went back to the store this afternoon to take care of my data/IMEI problem, the guys at the desk kept insisting that I couldn't have bought my phone at *their* store because they hadn't gotten any 8310's in yet. It wasn't until I showed them my receipt (timestamped less than 2 hours earlier) that they believed me. Ridiculous!

Well, that's no help to me. Only a few people at my work use BB's but they're also their personal cell phones (which mine will be as well). Poop.

Stores in Sarasota/Bradenton near me have the red ones in stock. I'll wait a few days for the titanium color to arrive.

I finally got the Titanium 8310 today after many,many,many days and calls - a store down here in Houston got TWO today in their shipment and called me. They were shocked that I was right when asking about it and still didn't know the difference between it and the 8300 until I told them it had GPS. I like it a lot - moving from my trusty 8700c and just getting used to the smaller size.

Is it me or is the trackball kind of flimsy? For those who have had a BB with a trackball (like a pearl) - with the number of times you need to press it, does it hold up? I really like the multiple improvements (I notice) since the soft version on my 8700 - nice minor additions to address book, the phone theme is nicer, etc.

Whats all the fuss about? It is just a curve with GPS.

For those of you out there that have had the 8310 now for a few days or even hours, have you had a chance to play with it much? Have you found any new features or differences between it and the 8300, good or bad?

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I've been at work since then and as I've since discovered AT&T has a ridiculously slow network! Anyway to answer your question they said they only had the red ones. But that was the same CSR who was explaining the wonderful WIFI the 8310 has!

LoL. I brought my crimson 8310 to another store and asked if they had a Titanium that I could exchange for - the guy looks at it and says "no, we only have the one with Wifi". I was like "....actually, i believe your version only has GPS". Awesome.

The regular at&t site shows a retail of $449. With discounts it comes to 199.99 The priemier site shows a regular retail of $749. With discounts it comes to 299.99 how is that a better deal? And why do they do that?

They do it so they can offer 50% off. But, it's deceptive and someone should call them on it. The only advantage of the premier site, in my view, is more frequent upgrades.

Sometimes the have far better deals than in store sometimes not! But often in stores we cannot help some accts that use premier! In store we were doing the curve 8300 version for 99 bucks before rebate that would make it free after rebate! That was just the market I work in.

Premier can also get discounts on accessories in stores not so much. Discounts can be given we just have to justify it when the discount reports are done
