I ordered mine through the premier site today. It listed the 8310 as $299 but when I went to checkout it showed up as $199. It also charged my CC as $199. My question is, there was no rebate mentioned on the premier site, does the standard rebate that is offered in the retail store and online apply to the premier site. That would make it $199-100 = $99

I am eligible for a&tt premier through my work as well as through my school. The advantages for me was 10% off all rate plans, saved me about $10 a month

I had the same thing. The site showed my upgrade price as $300, but when then checkout came it was $176 (199.99-$25 instant discount, also don't know where that came from but it was in the cart). that alone justified the next day air ;)

MadDog_:
Premier is offered to business customers (or large organizations). If you work for a large employer see if they offer discounts with the carriers. We also get something like 15% or so off service and a nice discount off of accessories.

For $199 you could have been elgible for an upgrade, just checked my premier site and did the whole checkout and it was $299, unless they made a mistake.

Also about premier from the page before. It is more expensive but if you are not due for an upgrade it saves you $150.

it wasn't a "upgrade" price. I started my 2 year contract about 8 months ago.

Finally got an update for my letstalk order, which I placed on Oct 14. It is in "activation and picking", with an estimated ship date of Oct 18, and delivery on Oct 23.

Again, I'm not in a hurry, but they haven't been on top of things nearly as much as wirefly was with my pearl.

Default Shipping times on Premier? - 10-17-2007, 12:22 PM

Hey guys, what are you getting as processing times for orders on your premier site? I just placed mine this morning and received an order confirmation email stating the order will be shipped in 2 - 5 days.

My current order status shows the 'processing' checked off. Hopefully, the estimate I received is conservative and its shipped this afternoon.

I placed 2 orders.

First one last night at 8:30PMish and the order was shipped this morning.
Second one I placed this morning at 8:00AMis and the order is processed and awaiting the tracking number.

It should be fairly quick...

when you check your status, be sure to hit F5 which will request an update from the web server and it will give you the latest status instead of the cached data on your computer.

I called and asked about the processing time. I was put on hold for a few minutes while the rep checked and then he came back and told me that it would be shipped out today.

I just ordered mine through NBS...they stared out at $199 for the upgrade, but I told him about amazon pricing, and sweet talked them a bit...got it for $59 with free 2 day shipping.

I've been with AT&T/Cingular/AT&T for 5 years, and my bill is usually $300/month...so I asked them to "keep me happy" and they did!

FarSeide, thanks for the update. I'm glad to hear that the estimate they give is very conservative (2-5 days). Hopefully mine will ship out this afternoon as well.

That's a great price. What's NBS and do you have a number to call?

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8310/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102 UP.Link/6.3.0.0.0)

Glad everyone is finally getting their devices..now let's move to the discussion of reviews and mods!

Anyone else annoyed by the placement of the period? This is my first bb and I hate how I have to hold shift to put some periods into a text message... Just like that

Buld quality is eh... Everything everywhere creeks and has play in it. Camera is kinda fuzzy too. Battery life is unbelievable. Coming from a WM5 device, I'm amazed.

Ill post more when I can think of it

For those of you who are received shipping confirmation emails, does the order status page show that it has been shipped?

Yes. It should say that the order has been completed and shipped and the "shipped" box should be checked. Plus the carrier link towards the bottom should be active and include a tracking number.

Hmm...I placed my order yesterday and mine is still processing. That's strange. I guess I'm going to have to make another phone call...

Picked up my Titanium 8310 this morning in Indy. They had plenty they said. I placed my old (charged) battery in it from my 8300 and while driving up to Chicago it was about dead by the time I arrived at my hotel. Hope that is not the norm for this model. It is also a bit sluggish moving through the apps. I'll give it a few days to see if things speed up. Seems the 8300 started out this way to. If I keep it I'll upgrade the OS to see if I can get better speed. The color is cool but not anything I'd write home about. I'm keeping my 8300 until I'm sure about this one.

Ordered this morning got shipping notice about two hours later and will be here tomorrow.

Soonerfan i dont know why Premier is showing so much for you. When i entered the store i went. buy phone -> upgrade handset/plan and logged in selected the device. It was discounted with both the company discount and the web discount.

When I put it into my cart and got through the accessories, voice, and data plan selections, it showed the price as $199. That was on the summary page before I started to check-out.
