Haha, no problem. I've heard rumors that 4.3 may be available in October, but of course, I take all that stuff with a grain of salt, even when it's in official print. We at AT&T Mobility were supposed to have the 8820 back in late August.

No, only the 8310. This update will likely give you a JVM Error 523 if you try to load it onto a plain ol' 8300.

So, I wonder ... I've put up latest OS threads for the 8707 and the 8310 ... so, how come these threads aren't being stickied? Heck, the 8707 coming out in Japan is big news, and the 8310 is all ready out for quite a few carriers; though I don't have a release date, I have noticed as of today that our [AT&T Mobility's] technical support knowledgebase does actually contain some articles for working with the 8310.

Don't mean to seem like I'm whining or looking for attention; all I'm saying is that I think that this information could be useful to some folks, and if it gets lost in the mix, they're not getting the same level of OS information help as folks with the other handsets are, you know?

Im actually using this OS. Its good, only reason i am using it is that i wanted the tim theme again, so i got it and edited the ALX file and all is good now. The one weird thing is, when i go to mobile.google.com t download the google apps, i can not. i get an error that the page cant be found. I scroll down and was able to download gmaps and the gmail applet seperatley though. I was able to get to mobile.google.com using another berry. I have no idea what it could be. Any help? Oh, and for the record, i did set up my apn. I miss having the google search portal HELP

Here's a kicker, I just upgraded a 8300 for a user here at the office with this and it didn't turn his curve into a brick. Everything worked on it just fine and the OS showed up as the new one in the about screen. I'm in the process of rolling it back to the .89 release because I don't feel like taking anymore chances with his. I'll wait until I get my 8810 in the next couple weeks.

Wow, nice! ^_^ I didn't think it would run, as an 8820 OS won't run on an 8800 (personal experience tells me so, lol) ... heck, that's stellar! =) How'd you do it? Just copying the files from one directory to the other, or what?
